You ask for it - I do it! ;)
I'll start doing some drafts for characters in the new resolution today. 
Unfortunately I didn't read your discussion about v.04 and gfx until just now, 
but what I gather from it, concerning my part (character animation) an average 
human should have the dimension of two tiles: 40x80 pixels. As I understand it 
this would just be a guideline, meaning that characters aren't limited to this 
space. So you could have sword tips and fancy hairdos sticking out of the two 
tiles area, right? (As well as Monsters that are way larger, of course)

I'll start doing some sketches tonight, and I'll also figure out a good 
animation, and how many frames that would need.

P.S.: Could you just explain to me what you mean by chrono trigger characters?
