The AVR community itself is already quite big. Besides this list and 
avr-gcc-list, there is the website, AVR Freaks: www.avrfreaks.net. They 
have several incredibly active forums including an "AVR GCC Forum". 
There is some cross-over between subscribers to avr-gcc-list and posters 
on AVR Freaks.
