THe hardware interface is a parallel interface with the same pinout as stk
200 / 300. I've included the link here

I had a quick look at the AVR Dude sources.

I guess I need to install cygwin first?

And how easy is it to modify the software.

The pinout is the same as the STK200 except for a programming LED.

P.s. Stick with me.  This will be my first forray into getting stuff out of
CVS and building it, since I've always used WinAVR or AVR Freaks gcc package
before now.
