The other significant difference (apart from a slightly lower price)
is that oscillators based on ceramics resonators start up a lot faster
than crystal-based ones.  (This is somewhat related to them having a
lower Q than crystals.)  This can be advantegous if you want to put
the device on sleep frequently, since you can then use shorter
start-up times (thus have lower power consumption).
