A third option is to provide an NSGL implementation for Equalizer. We haven't 
gotten around to do this, mostly due to the little interest and relatively poor 
multi-GPU support on OS X. From preliminary talks to the Apple folks it seems 
that the threading support in NSGL/Cocoa is worse then for AGL/CGL, but I'm by 
now means an expert -- another reason why the NSGL support is still missing. ;)
