I've got this now :)
It is make dist that triggers it, after getting the translation thing
working (perhaps poedit updating something?)
the error reported is this:
make[3]: Entering directory `/home/rshann/git-denemo/localbuild/po'
sed -e '/^#/d' ../../denemo/po/remove-potcdate.sin >
t-remove-potcdate.sed
mv t-remove-potcdate.sed remove-potcdate.sed
/usr/bin/xgettext --default-domain=denemo --directory=../../denemo \
--add-comments=TRANSLATORS: --keyword=_ --keyword=N_ \
--files-from=../../denemo/po/POTFILES.in \
--copyright-holder='Free Software Foundation, Inc.' \
--msgid-bugs-address=''
/usr/bin/xgettext: warning: The option --msgid-bugs-address was not
specified.
If you are using a `Makevars' file, please
specify
the MSGID_BUGS_ADDRESS variable there;
otherwise please
specify an --msgid-bugs-address command line
option.
/usr/bin/xgettext: Non-ASCII string at src/entries.h:411.
Please specify the source encoding through
--from-code
But I can't see where this command is being issued - so how can I add
the --from-code=utf8
which is what is needed?
