I've been using the Audigy 2 Platinum EX for a couple of months now.  
(It's even happily coexisting with a second (run-of-the-mill) sound 
card I have installed in my Red Hat box... bonus! :-) I'm using the 
emu10k drivers at http://sourceforge.net/projects/emu10k1/ . I'm not 
sure that all of the Audigy's features are supported, but since I only 
care about stereo in and out that's OK for me.  The Audigy has a 
gazillion inputs and outputs (at least it seems like it); the toughest 
part is figuring out how to use emu10k's support program to patch these 
ports to OSS's ins and outs...

As far as I can tell with the way I have things set up, the highest 
sample rate in and out with GNU Radio is 48 kHz.  Since the card 
supposedly samples inputs at rates up to 96 kHz and playback at rates 
up to 192 kHz, I need to figure out if it's my installation or the 
linux implementation that's the limiting factor.  I haven't dug that 
deep into it since I haven't needed the higher sampling rates yet, but 
I plan to...
