I would recommend against adding too much editing capability. When *nix users want to
edit an image, they're going to use Gimp. Trying to duplicate Gimp's functionality is
IMHO a waste of time. ImageView is an image *viewer*. The only "editing" I'd
like to see in the application is the ability to save an image in another format.

I would like to see ability of rotating images, for example photos. AFAIK, in some
formats (JPG?), only one flag needs to be changed to rotate the image, say 90 degrees
clockwise, for example. Therefore, i think that ImageViewer should be able to
"understand" the image files, not just use NSImage for displaying. Perhaps with
some bundle interface?

And to add some public interface to the application, to be able to script it
:o) and do batch processing of photos. Maybe creating a ImageViewer.framework
and make ImageViewer.app to be just a wrapper around that framework?

Just a suggestion for thinking.

My biggest feature request right now is to remove the prompt on quitting. It's
inconsistent with other GNUstep-based apps. If I don't have a (savable)
document open, I don't want the program trying to second-guess whether I mean
to quit or not.

I double that.
