Of the 3 I'd highly prefer git, of the 3 i've only used git and hg,
and fossil might be great but I prefer not to learn another version
control system, and prefer to use the same version control system for
everything,
so I don't have to consider which project i'm working on at the shell.

thus were you to pick fossil or hg, i'd find a way to import into git,
and that is usually a bit of recurring pain,
that said my contributions to gnustep are minimal to non-existent at
this point so feel free to discount my preference. while I consider
git optimal, stick those in a hat, pick one and it'll be better than
SVN.
