Every little bit can help, but I do wonder if that's not a bit of 
"premature optimization".  As a developer, it's not the biggest deal in 
the world for me to have to add files to a build project (for basic 
development, at least).  More useful would be links to online 
resources/discussions that involve filling in the gaps with more than 
just placeholders.
