yeah, the website is on sf.net webspace and they are often terribly slow. have 
to away from there sometime.

read the manpage for a short howto (USAGE)
 http://ftplicity.sourceforge.net/tmp/usage
or search the web. lot's of users wrote duply howto's themselves.
