Hi all.

After the last firmware update of my pioneer dvr-104 I am unable to burn DVDs.
I get the following output from dvdrecord:

dvdrecord -v -dao speed=2 dev=0,1,0 irgendno.iso

dvdrtools v0.1.3

dvdrecord: Cannot get disk type.

This happens with both types of disks that I have here (Intenso single speed
and Princo double speed), although I wrote quite a lot of them before. I am
not 100% sure that this happened áfter the firmware update, because I did not
burn any disks in the last 3 weeks.

Does anyone know if there is a way to make dvdrecord ignore the manufacturer
code or something like that?

thanks

Felix
