No, just that if you often use non-standard file names, you may want to
explain your own standard to Emacs so that it can figure out what's
going on.
And if your standard is constantly changing, then you'll have to live with
the consequences of your own insane choices.

This is and has been true of all files in Emacs.  It's not specific
to images.
