It all sounds OK to me, except for vc-p4 since p4 is non-free.
The reason we refuse to support non-free version control systems is to
give support the use of the free ones. This is part of a more general
policy where we don't support use of Emacs with non-free software
unless it is very widely used (like Windows or MacOS).
