I suppose you didn't use the customization interface :-( So what happens is that because of this bug Emacs doesn't pop up a new window but reuses an existing one. >>> but not for code that use switch-to-buffer-other-window. I checked in a fix which should handle `switch-to-buffer-other-window' as well. Please have another look. Thanks, martin
