    ‘foo’ -- directed single quotation marks (U+2018, U+2019)
    “foo” -- directed double quotation marks (U+201C, U+201D)

On each line, both quotes display alike for me.
But at least they look like quotes.

setupcon gives me lots of errors; I guess it doesn't
work in this version.
