Precisely.  You've just explained in two lines why you're going to
lose this battle.

Until Emacs *has* a security model, as a language or as a platform,
encryption *is* "just a feature".  Without that, your best bet is to
sign on with larsi's "it's a f---ing important f---ture, g-------t!"
line.
