Ok, I did not understand the proposal.  Since menu entries would
usually start with an uppercase letter, it would in the normal case
then cause lowercasing, ok, without losing uniqueness.

That will give us symbols like
enter\ debugger\ On\ quit/c-G
when using easymenu-add-menu.

Cough, cough.  What is the deal exactly with the symbol names, anyway?
Where does their case get externally visible?  And why is lowercasing
them desirable?  I am afraid that I still don't understand the problem
that is presumably addressed by the lowercasing.
