Okay, this is now the behavior of nil markup of
emacs-wiki--dev--1.0--patch-9. It's a user-visible change, so it's
marked with NOTE: in the changelog. Note that there is currently no
easy way to get things marked up as an example, so you might want to
write your own function to do that temporarily.
