        Oh, well that version does NOT have the OS X fixes.  I guess I

        LOTS!  Including support for formats OTHER than TrueType, such as 
Type 1, OpenType, etc.

        It's one option, though it would require changes to your code as 
the API changed.  I'll take a look later today at rolling the OS X changes 
back down to 1.x since some others have asked for it as well.
