Manchester/UMIST pro at a technical level, but recently appointed an idiot as a senior IT person who is MS through and through. Computer society's at both (soon to be one) are pro. Don't know about MMU...

Yep.  Fancy doing it and offering it for the education campaign to link
to?
For me, UEA: central services are probably slightly anti; some
departments
are pro; the closest there is to a computer society (tsw) are pro.
