NAACE - National Association of Advisers for Computers in Education

 http://www.naace.org.uk

Rather badly named as many of the members are about as technical as MS
marketing department, on whom they seem to depend for much of the advice
handed out. However... they do number technical people within their ranks,
and the least technical are normally advisers in the LEA. If you can
convince these people, the schools will come on board. If you don't, the
schools who want to will be fighting an uphill battle.

The annual conference tends to be smaller than BETT so getting people's
attention will be easier. I'm fairly certain the costs for stands are lower
too.
