I don't consider xcode a good reason.
A real reason/need to switch from cvs to something else are the
commit clashes that you recently experienced with bradley.
When you work on a topic in teams this will be constant annoyance.
When you're doing big changes instead of bug fixes, this can be
a desaster.

And decentralized systems allow for a better handling of this.
Especially methods to test the merged code locally or in small
groups before commiting to an official archive are worth a lot.

Having a point and click management doesn't weigh anything, when
it comes to seeing a month of coding go down the drain.
