As soon as possible. Unfortunately I didn't have time to even
look into gnokii.

As the temporary fix you may add:

#ifndef API
#  define API
#endif

at the beginning of the include/gnokii.h
or

#include "compat.h"

before gnokii includes in smsd/mysql.c
