Ah, more motivation to do this.

Generally, there aren't patches on 6.1a, but there have been a few
6.1.xxx released after 6.1a or 6.1b so they definitely need to be a
separate branch.

Also, Bram updates the documentation and a few other things with the
version number, so they can't quite be tags.
