2d rationale.  The wiki is broken (my registration still hasn't been
fully processed and it's been at least a week).

Until the scripting language version issues (the problem that the wiki
master mentioned) get sorted out, it's probably not a good idea to
make extensive changes, unless somebody has a full mirror to recover
from.
