Right, except for the little part that that will not help solve the problem
of newbees starting to learn the tool.  You still have to learn the correct
way before you can be pointed to these shortcuts you want them to create.

The shortcuts and aliases have to be part of tla if that problem is to be
solved.

I'm not sure what the problems are you (and maybe others) had in the past
that makes you react the way you do, but I'm sure that these can be solved
with better interaction and better error messages from tla.


As I said some time ago; I'me whats called a usability expert;  if you have
doubts that defaults won't work; lets discuss the exact examples. Thats what
I do for a living (a.o.), I'm sure we can work it out.

Right now some people are showing the old linux problem too much; the
"this is an elite tool; if you don't understand it, go away".  That is
probably not what anyone here wants...
