Interruption of in-process system calls is a vital feature.
We could imagine some other interface, but if it doesn't support this,
it will be a step backward and perhaps useless.

Not to mention that if it doesn't provide a base for implementing POSIX
interfaces it won't run any of our software, so it will be useless for us.
