As I'd written, I did already increase these values to 64 acct and 32 auth and
restarted the server without any relief.
What finally did it was setting the
EXTERNAL-AUTH:rad-acct-client:acct-checkpoint to 0 (from 5) -- I guess I was
flooding the radius box with checkpoint packets. :-)
