Interestingly, I found an old ChangeLog entry:

        * src/shishid.c: Use LOG_DAEMON instead of LOG_AUTHPRIV (make this

I suppose making it configurable would indeed be nice.  However, we
still need a default value, and it should probably be LOG_AUTH.
