Some French Lily translators built a glossary quite a long time ago, and
we still use it as a reference; however, there are only musical terms,
as we don't always agree on translation of some technical words (e.g.
"markup" or "text markup").  You're right to add non-musical technical
phrases to the glossary too, but maybe it's important to group them into
categories ("music", "programming", etc), i.e. to build a kind of
database.

Yes: this kind of translation resource is not used by most people
downloading the sources, and is not used to generate translated docs, so
let's do not add it to the sources.

Possible options for storing translation ressources are
- the unofficial wiki, as Jean-Charles proposed,
- a git branch (maybe it would be too confidential),
- a site shared by many translators (the better option I think, but also
the most difficult to organize).

IMHO it's very important to discuss this with your language team in Free
Translation Project -- I hope we'll be able to share out glossary with
the French team sooner or later.
