I think I know what you want to have -- a kind of `z' quarter rest is
used in old French scores also; its shape is based on the eigth rest,
with a mirrored bulb at the bottom.

The first step is that you send us an image which shows the glyph at a
big size with good resolution.  In case it can be easily derived from
the symbols we already have it should be straightforward to add it to
the feta font.

Just to get a feeling how feta glyphs are constructed: Say

  mf '\mode:=proof; input feta20'
  gftodvi feta20.2602gf

then view the resulting feta20.dvi with a DVI viewer and compare it
with the glyph code in the corresponding MF source files
(e.g. feta-schrift.mf).
