Stuart,
I do not think it is related to your changes. I installed the
Freescale BSP in a separate PC (Suse 10.0, it's a bit old) to get that
error. I also tried the latest ltib from savannah and it err'd also.
My initial thought is that the RPM environment is a bit different
between the two machines I am using. The original Suse 11.x machine I
was using not having a problem. I will probably try to investigate
myself to resolve since I am trying to get this setup for my fellow
engineers to start working and we have a very diverse set GNU/Linux
desktops.

Hi Mike,
I know you've moved back to the FSL BSP, but I wonder if you could help me
track this down. I've been making changes in this area and want to make sure
I haven't introduced bugs.
I just re-tried and and it worked for me. What you should see is the rpm
files being downloaded.

OK GPP:
Try rpm-4.0.4.tar.gz.md5 from the GPP

"rpm-4.0.4.tar.gz.md5" [1]
Try rpm-4.0.4.tar.gz from the GPP
....
Can you do:
$ rm -rf /tmp/rpm*
$ ./ltib
and see if that works, if not I'll need to investigate further.
BTW: the change I made is that the downloads go into /tmp/rpm-_user_/..
so that when this area is cleaned up the downloads are removed to keep /tmp
clean.

I an a bit confused about where the local files are stored and how
that is defined. This ltib was checked out of savannah yesterday:
