This is very strange. That file doesn't exist on my system
(Debian/Lenny), and it shouldn't be built.

Could you provide your log/libidn file for further analysis?

And do you have the static libraray

    usr/i686-pc-mingw32/lib/libidn.a

    (size: 301 KB)

or is it missing on your system?
