I'm not intending to run down your server admin, but this really
looks like an issue with the system configuration.
If the system is meant to be used as a 32-bit system, the whole
stuff including your login shell should already be run with the
linux32 wrapper.
I don't see a way to "fix" this in Mingw-cross-env, because this
is neither an issue with Mingw-cross-env, nor a portability issue.
Are you able to "./configure && make" other packages by hand on
this system?
What's the output of "gcc -v" on this system?
