Is the file fully available on the network ?

Start any of the two GUIs, double-click on the file line, if you see red
bars at the bottom of the screen, some file pieces are missing on all the
sources you're currently connected to. If those bars never go away, no one
has those parts, and your download is unlikely to ever finish.

This phenomenon is of course not specific to mldonkey, it's a general
problem of file sharing networks...
