It is a nice idea but it does not always work for me anyway so I would not
mind if it would be removed.
That said I do not think the svannah people would mind one request per client
per day we would just have to make sure that it is not more often another ini
or addition to downloads.ini would be nice I think.
It should store the last date the info was updated and the currently availible
and the version of mldonkey with wich it was updated so it can be compared
with the version of mldonkey currently used. That way you can make sure you
always have the newest info but do not hammer the site too much.
What is updated with that info anyway? Serverlist and version info?
Does the server propagation add to this problem too?
Anyway update once a day is enough in any case.(servers on dynamic ip are bad
anyway and should be sorted out)
