[Nano-devel] Re: switch autoindent on/off?

So M-I works just fine, but here is a feature request:

I generally have autoindent set to "on". The problems occur when I paste 
some text with the mouse into the editor. First the text that I copied 
with the left mouse button:

Authors:
--------
    Chris Allegretta <address@hidden>
    David Lawrence Ramsey <address@hidden>
    Jordi Mallach <address@hidden>

Now here is the same text when pasted into nano:

Authors:
--------
    Chris Allegretta <address@hidden>
        David Lawrence Ramsey <address@hidden>
            Jordi Mallach <address@hidden>

Of course I could use M-I to switch autoindent off before pasting and 
switch it back on afterward, but could nano not do that for me? I mean, it 
should be able to detect that I'm pasting something...
