I can reproduce with the latest git head Version 5.3 patchlevel 0    last
modified 2018-04-25:


gnuplot> plot sin(x)
gnuplot> set terminal svg enhanced size 576,432 dynamic fsize 8 background rgb
"#ffffff"

Terminal type is now 'svg'
                                                        ^
         unrecognized terminal option

gnuplot> set out "t1.svg"
gnuplot> replot
Segmentation fault
