OK, I have submitted those feature requests at

I'd love to help (and have a solid background in C++), but I'm not very
familiar with Qt and GUI development (I am aware of signals/slots, but only
in very small projects. octave-gui seems quite complex and using advanced Qt
functionality, but correct me if I'm wrong ;- ).
How would one go about implementing those features (e.g., which files /
methods are involved in particular)?
