Anyway, maybe some long-time Pan users have forgotten that there was a 3rd
party library that Charles was trying to incorporate into Pan at one point.
That library was going to handle SPA. For some reason that I can't remember
now that library was pulled and thus SPA support went out with it.
libesmtp if I'm not mistaken?
