The primary goal of the GNU PDF Library is to provide a convenient and complete framework for both process and create PDF files. After the library is released the texinfo/texi2pdf/... maintainers may want to use it to improve the pdf generation capabilities. Btw: I suggest moving the Statement of Purpose from Lib:Architecture to the homepage. I find it hard to find on the site something more substential on the goals of gnupdf than the the sentence on the homepage. Good idea. I shall fix it today. Thanks. -- Jose E.
