Firstly, do a CVS update of the source tree. Then.......

<Open up a console>
<Change directory to the source tree>

> make depclean # removes any compiled stuff

        # NOTE! Might be a good idea to apt-get remove your .deb files

And it has installed everything. It might take a while to compile from
source, but of course, this is CPU power, not bandwidth I'm talking
about :-)
