Good work! I liked the old one quite a bit more too.

Did you write a mail to the author, asking wheter we can:
a) use it in a GPL project
b) can we convince him to add international characters

If the first yields a yes, the second may be done by someone else I
guess? Never worked with fonts on that level but given the source of the
font it should be possible for someone else to draw the remaining
characters in similar style, shouldn't it?
