Hi

I implemented a basic region (for rendering) definition, going by  ^TA<[> and 
^TA<]>. In my tests, everything went fine

For the 0.18.0 checkpoint, all is done, please, let me know if there is some 
last minute stuff you would like to see fixed/revised.

I plan to release 018.0 tomorrow morning, and fork to 0.19.0 in the afternoon
