Hi Shawn,

I have encountered an error when trying to build the CVS version. I'm
not that experienced with CVS, so please tell me what I've done wrong.
The first thing I wanted to do was to run autoconf and thus create a
configure script:

~/ratpoison $ autoconf
configure.in:23: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE
      If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
      See the Autoconf documentation.
configure.in:25: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_MAINTAINER_MODE
configure.in:27: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_CONFIG_HEADER

I use autoconf-2.5.9-r6.
