It works for you (I guess it is because of your @gnu.org email address, or
maybe because you're a "trusted" user). But for other mortals we've gone back
to the problem we had a few days ago: users will not be able to subscribe to
non-gnu lists.

Look what happens to other users:

Received: from tweety.fe.up.pt (tweety.fe.up.pt [193.136.28.27])
        by lorosae.fe.up.pt (8.10.1/8.10.1) with ESMTP id f71B4UN17272
        for <address@hidden>; Wed, 1 Aug 2001 12:04:30 +0100 (WET DST)
Subject: Bcaml-bug -- confirmation of subscription -- request 305237
From: address@hidden
To: address@hidden
Reply-To: address@hidden

Of course, since the Reply-to field is wrong, exim will now complain:

2001-08-01 07:23:20 verify failed for SMTP recipient
address@hidden from <address@hidden> H=quim-234.fe.up.pt
(localhost) [193.136.33.212]

And sends an error e-mail message:

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. The following address(es) failed:

  address@hidden:
SMTP error from remote mailer after RCPT
+TO:<address@hidden>:
    host fencepost.gnu.org [199.232.76.164]:
550 Unknown local part bcaml-bug-request in
    <address@hidden

Could you please fix this?

Regards,
Jaime
