actually, when i do this, simulavr quits, as does disp. then again, i'm using
an old, hacked version of pre-11 that has some pre-12 stuff in it, and may
still have my work-arounds in the signal handling, from back when i was trying
to wrestle zombies to the ground.
i agree it's quite useful to have the sim stick around after gdb goes away, and
be able to restart a sim from within gdb without quitting at all, but it would
also be good to have a way to quit the whole chain of parent-child processes
without leaving zombies around, too, and without having to use "killall". i
don't remember if that ever got addressed.
you guys left me in the dust with the patches a week ago... i'm waiting for cvs
to come up so i can get back in sync again. then it'll be much easier to stay
up-to-date.
and i'm extremely happy with how this thing is progressing. you gentlemen are
way above my level, and there's not much i can add, so i'm going to just go
back to being a dumb 'ol user and all-around samsonite gorilla again.
