William,
I've tried it on an opensuse 10.3 and it worked for me too. Tiny problem from
configure:
with_libiberty_path = check
/usr/local/avr/bin/../i686-suse-linux-gnu/avr/ is NOT a directory...
configure: error: check DOES NOT appear to be the location of the avr-built
lib/libbfd.a or include/bfd.h or is an incompatable version of the avr libbfd\n
Please use the --with-bfd-path=<path to your avr-built libbfd library>
With an explicit bfd-path it works. How is is the path to libbfd check? My real
path is:
--with-bfd-path=/usr/local/avr/i686-pc-linux-gnu/avr
Cheers
Knut
