Hi,

Some projects commit the results of the bootstrap
so when you check out, you get the configure
script and Makefile.in's.

Would it make sense for simularavrxx to be bootstrap'ed
in CVS?

As I remember we decided that we have to bootstrap the cvs but deliver configure in tar files. But actually I have checked in all the files. I think this is not an important question.
OK. As long as we all know and have the right tools.

I have a script which handles all the release steps for CVS
modules for the various parts of RTEMS and other projects
I support. I used it to cut the updated tarball yesterday
which was bootstrapped. We can make sure it works
with simulavrxx and sourceforge so there is a low change
of screwing up a release tarball.
Which files I have to remove if we only want the bootstrap version?

I updated the bootstrap script to merge functionality
from the RTEMS bootstrap. The next tarball will include
a -c option to clean. Wait until my next tarball and
then you can run -c. It should be out in a few hours.
